Was thinking that but meh.

You have a new club starting up in norwich. Adam's organising it so get in touch with him.

Other than that take a look on uk bike trial and bike trial uk and find a club local to you. (essex at a guess).

The its just a case of ringing up and filling out the forms you get sent.

The colours refer to the route. White-novice, blue-intermediate, red-expert, yellow-elite.

You'll prob wanna start in blue and go from there.

You can enter one class for a day at what ever club, for example say you came and rode ymsa trials, you could enter red (expert) for the day, classes are as follows:

white: novice

blue:inter

red:expert

yellow:elite

black (ymsa):pro elite

EDIT: some clubs aren't listed on the biketrial uk website etc. YMSA is the only club running under UCI style rules, something you may find fun if you enjoy this style of riding like you said. For this you need a membership/license which is combined and you just have to fill out one form and pay your membership/license money which i think is £10 or £11 then your entry fee per trial which is £10. It's a really easy thing to get used to once you've done it once.

Hi

Have a look on www.ukbiketrial.co.uk to find all the necessary forms etc to fill out, and to see what clubs are near you and when the comps are.

You can only ride one route/class at a time. For example if you are riding novice you would follow the white markers ( only go through a set of whites, not blue etc)

The only Uci stuff in this country is the ymsa competitions, not sure if they are near you. and the world championship qualifing events, not sure if your quite ready for them.

I suggest getting all your licenses sorted out early next year, and enter a local comp, i would suggest starting with novice, or maybe intermediate, and just see how you get on from there, dont worry if you 5 everything first time, we all do!!

If not, just go down and watch a comp with a couple of mates, and Assess(sp)the situation from there.

Hope this helps

Scott
