Krisboats
Thats a bit odd... Someones been 'shopping' at the same place as me. Before anyone asks, I already have more than enough testers Ha ha, wicked! You tried their 20a compound? We got given a bit of that too, useless for pads but damn that thing is fun to play with. Its currently stuck to my fridge due to the fact the rubbers so grippy, no glue or anything... just press it on and it'll stay there till you pull it off. Would be fun to try but don't think they'd last too long. There is now a 45a stuck to my mirror

Al_Fel
Since its the 10th and soft lad went out on the 8th to test his pads i'm assuming he died because he just glued a bit of rubber to a bit of plastic.I've just thought of a good way to piss someone off on here. All you have to do is post a thread about the person you don't like and say they are making brake pads and is looking for people to test them. BANG 5million pms off people begging for free pads. N.Wood
Suppliers of this material (whyo are decent) are hard to come buy. Especially when you ask for sample sections. So I'll be keeping that a secret. Why? I don't want any, I'm prepared to pay for my pads. But its not like the huge influx of, say, 10 riders asking for sample sections is gonna put them out of business. Greetings
I wonder what the ultimate compound must be like. I mean there's such a huge difference between Cousts and any other pads it's just unbelievable. So surely there must be even better compounds around which haven't been discovered.. James Quigley
I think he might actually be injured. At least if he tried to ride those pads he might be.They do look a bit dangerous
Walleee
It wasn't a mod who didn't want it there. But never mind.Gone are the day's when trials riders shared info between them to make riding better, imagine if when you were younger and started riding some arsehole wouldn't tell you where to get tar from, but just sold you some.nice.I'm not talking about anyone in particular, but if 'companies' are worried that they may lose business from telling people their supplier, surley that would indicate that the manufacturing processes etc are nothing that can't be done yourself. (as has been made evident by many people on here) I'd like to see a full costing for a set of pads that cost's say, £18 and are produced in batches (say 50-1000) obviously the margins will increase as numbers do, I wom't be holding my breath.......
