Revolver
i've heard onza rear hubs are a bit poowhat you could do is stash aside money, and then you can replace the first (thus shittest) thing to break immediately
liam-pantera
woo hold on mate , there is no need to be replacing anything yet . this years spec of t-mag is alot better quality than previous years , the comments that people have made aobut the hub is that it is of poor quality and the bearings break but the hub onza use is a generic hub and will only break under harsh riding and because you have just begun its gonna take a while before you can deal ou that type of punishment .as for future upgrades consider your steering and wheels , everything else is very good if you would like any further information on components just ask . dreaming of a monty
hey, just thought i'd let you know that i bought an 07 t-comp back in march and the only things i've changed are the pedals.I've not had to get anything fixed or replaced the bike has been fine. You should find you get along with it just fine.I can't really fault mine and it's never let me down. Hopefully you'll enjoy yours like i've enjoyed mine.Enjoy your riding and hope i've helped.(btw never even had a puncture or a pinch flat, hopefully this wont jinx that)
basher
If your a beginner you dont need to replace anything, the hubs only break if you dont service them reguarly. Just give them a good greaseing up every couple of months and they will be fine. When you do get better things to replace will be the hubs to sealed bearing hubs everything else is good on the bike and will last up untill your pro. Like said stick some money away and then when you are better you can upgrade parts as you have the money.
Ali C
built one for a customer at tartybikes the other day, had a quick spin to make sure it was working right and it felt pretty good, from looking and riding them I wouldnt change anything unless they broke. they are pretty cool little bikes. Onza-rider
i have one i am getting new stem and bars and a new back wheel because the hub is shot to bits.i am not the best rider but i have still bent the back axle. so i recommend getting a new hub asapbut everything else is ok i am only getting a new stem and bar combo out of own preference. gussie
thanks for the that guys or girls.ok well cash is definitely being put away.i was looking at the drilled rims. they seem to have been very poorly drilled. one of the layers of the rim ( layers, skins, walls i don't no the correct name) has a shaving like pieces of metal, it looks like it needs to be filled down. i don't plan on doing it unless it is really necessary, i don't know enough about bikes in general to do it confidently.gus

They just need to be looked after.

gussie
Yeah thats all good, but could someone tell us how to do this. You've told us what to do but now how do we do it.Thanks.i agree with this man^. that is good to know but as i am like a fool when it comes to maintaining/cleaning bikes and bike parts i don't think i will be able to work it out for myself. i think a very useful mechanical know how article on this, is in need. if it is unsealed does this just mean if you removed the axle there would be bearings in a cage (like in some bmx bottom brackets). and all that needs to be done is to clean these and re-grease them. does this need to be done a lot. is there a length of time which after you should clean it or can you feel it when it needs to be cleaned.gus
