Ryan Blackwell Posted December 6, 2007 Report Share Posted December 6, 2007 Ive just got some 05 monty pr bars on my bike and they feel mint.But im really wondering what the benefits are becuase ive herd the shorter the bar the less balance you have on the rear wheel.Is there any real benefits to having monty bars?Cheers. Only thing i could say benfits wise would be that they have a nice rise making bunnyhops nicer. The general thinking is that wider bars make it better to control on the backwheel but in reality it doesnt its all down to the rider and preferences and i find that wider bars just restrict movement more than anything.
