steve@banbury-trials
im not big into them but i do love hotel california
MadManMike
Other than Hotel California I find them a little bland and generic, like the live DVD I saw - For over an hour they just sat on bar stools with guitars. No life, no energy and not much originality.Fair play if some people like them, they just don't do it for me
MadManMike
PS. Gimme 'The Who' anyday!Still rocking it now!Townshend is a LEGEND.

Dr. Nick Riviera
it's rumored that Johnny cash's last word when asked before his operation 'are you allergic to anything?'he replied, 'Yes, Country music'

Sneakers O'Toole
I just gotta say that Joe Walsh is probably the most annoying man i have ever seen. I think it was the Strat Pack dvd i watched and i just wanted to hit him, his face is so rubbery and smug. Good guitarist though i must give him that. The track Lifes Been Good, is really catchy too. On nother not, i've neber been a big fan of the eagles but i may give them another whirl.
James
I think alot of it comes down to what your parents like, i mean me and my sister like the stuff my dad likes such as the eagles and stevie wonder and the comadores etc etc.. i think its just quite cool to actually appriciate something that isnt from ur generation and actually like it. Endohopper
... isnt from ur generation ...I happen to be hugely into Medieval choral works and classic composers . A bit before my time , but kickass all the same .
Caleb
it's rumored that Johnny cash's last word when asked before his operation 'are you allergic to anything?'he replied, 'Yes, Country music' thats brilliant, gotta love the J.R. Cash, im loving these music threads at the momnet, i reckon you can tell a lot about a person by the music they listen to !
MadManMike
Yeah, there's a lot of narrow minded people on here!Personally I like most stuff (He says, after saying he didn't like the Eagles...)

Sneakers O'Toole
Yes i did used to be Beeco. Thumbs up to the Who fans, they rock. I love John Entwistle, best bassist in my opinion. I'm a big fan of Zep aswell but i don't think this reunion concert is going to be that good. I havent heard Plants voice for a while but i expect they are gunan have to play around with alot of the songs, surely a 60 year old guy cant scream like he used to.
