No seriously mate, you're the idiot. And I just checked up on your topics... Trying to sell a bike in nmc tut tut... Oh and by the way, there is no way you could get £700 for a t-mag.

Lets stop ruining this guys thread now, I think he has been given all the advice we have to offer but I have a feeling he has gone elsewhere.

i have ridden a ty250 and they feel really heavy and yamaha now make scorpa engines and they turned out to be a pile of crap

They are heavy. I found growing some muscles helped.

Scorpas are f**king mint, the engines are bullet proof and the rest of the bikes don't fall apart like Gassers.

Yamaha know how to make engines, mine is f**ked and it's still a beast.

Thinking about getting the piston, barrel and head from a TY350, making it a 300, (almost).

I made a topic on Trials Central a while back, apparently it's a good idea, but the rings are hard to get. Shortened inlet and get the head machined down by 0.5-1.0mm to raise compression.

I have already removed 75% of the weight from my flywheel, stiffened the forks springs, fiddled the rear shock to increase the compression and rebound damping, fitted 4 security bolts so I am now running my tyre with 0psi in it, modified throttle, (increased the slide diameter to make it even faster), legthened clutch actuator arm, new cable full of oil, custom lever, (some magura blade, some other body).

No joking, my clutch is lighter than my mates 280 GasGas, which has the larger master cylinder.

scorpas are bomb proof, incredibly reliable engines. Much better than gassers for that but they don't look or ride as well as a gasser does.

people have already said what I was thinking about it not starting so I can't help you there, maybe take it along to a garage or something see if they can start it for you. it is quite a simple engine layout after all.

Google 'scorpa sy250fr' and then tell me it don't look good. (it looks better than my gasser anyway! :D )

Thats a myth because they are 4 strokes. My mate's Dad has an 05 one, it's been nothing but trouble, everything has gone wrong on it.

And 2 other guys I ride with have 07 ones, they are also shite.

Maybe there was a duff batch? Or maybe your Dad doesn't ride it every weekend both days. <_<

It can't a coincidence that the only 3 4RTs I know of have the owners complaining about them all the time.

My bikes still on it's original, 19 year old bottom end bearing. :)

Must be a duff batch to a certain dealer or summat. Or things get distorted when they get said through loads of people.

Where abouts is Cowm Quarry? Wales?
