AdamR28
Difficult to say without seeing it... but it sounds like the axle bolts may not be tight enough, or the wheel hasn't been set correctly to start with. You need both snail cams 'clicked' in to the correct tension and the wheel centred before you start to tighten the bolts.
Ashley-Wood
i do everything you say exactly like that but it will still go to the left and rub on frame so my guess is my frame is nackred
AdamR28
Not necessarily! Let someone with lots of experience have a look at it, it's often something really simple.

ibi123
Message for Adam- Hi adam, I found this really good crank extractor, maybe its worth buying some for Tarty. It is an isis crank extractor with a handle so you do not need to carry a wrench with you.Its made by Park Tool USA its a CCP-4 crank puller. It says will not fit square taper but if you screw the flat end off it works with square taper cranks. Here is picture of it wiht and without the end piecehttp://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc192/ibi123/DSC00360.jpghttp://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc192/ibi123/DSC00361.jpgHere is a link to the product its self http://www.parktool.com/products/detail.as...mp;item=CCP%2D4P.s your PM is blocked, lol proberly to stop people like me lol. AdamR28
sorry off topic again, but when will all the new monty stuff be coming in?Bikes early December, parts mid-late December (tight for xmas).Message for Adam-Cheers, we already have this which is essentially the same: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=559 except with it not having a built in handle it means it won't get stuck right next to the crank arm and stop you removing the crank :wink2: And it's less than 1/2 of the price too
basher
Not necessarily! Let someone with lots of experience have a look at it, it's often something really simple.Yeah its simple horizontal dropouts are absolute shite, you can never get good tension and the wheel moves unless you tighten the bolts up loads but then you risk striping the thread. More than likely your wheels moving because the bolts arent tight enough and the snail cam slips on the driveside because of the force from kicking. basher
It's funny, all the stuff you say is crap is always disproven by my bike if your refering to your brakes then they are still crap rims brakes for the win and bb7s for the win .No but really horizontal dropouts are crap in my opinion and was a reason why i went to stock. Simtra have the right idea with there mod proto. I was watching a world round video and i was looking at the chain tension of the koxx boys and bealey, and i dont think i so a chain tension that came close vertical dropouts. you will get tight and slack spots, chain is always either to tight ruining bearing in a freehub and ruining a freewheel or to slack. i never once got my wheel on mod to stay in place when i put good tension on and i didnt want to tighten the bolts up as much as you and dave do as i dent fancy risking the threads as i dont own a bike shop with loads of spare parts

basher
wheel/axel bolts, if you do them up really tight it does hold snail cams pritty well.
