Freewheel Help!

Righ ti have just brought a acs freewheel to tie me over til my birthday/christmas and is has been spot welded so it wont comes loose ect!

The problem is where the xtr tool is ment to go in it has been grounded down so the tool doest actually fit in there any more.

Would i still be able to get it off my cranks andd all that because i aint putting it on them until i knoe!

Cos i dont want to f**k them up aswell.

Help and advice needed!

Stop me if i am wrong ...... but isnt a xtr tool mean for bbs and a freewheel tool is meant for removing freewheels ........

Edit:

icetoolz xtr bb tool

- Also fits Middleburn spider lockrings.

- Knurled section to help you grip the tool when turning the lockring by hand.

- Large hex-fitting at the back to slot your favourite adjustable spanner onto :-)

You sir are using the wrong tool.
