Done something silly i am affraid, rear disc mounts on all bar a few frames (Simtra, MBK) are 20mm lower than the front, meaning to get that setup you have there you either need to get a 20mm smaller rotor or get a +40mm disc adapter (Y)

Cheers Adam.

So i'm guessing the one i have is +20mm yeah?

So was is my fault for not saying what kind of frame i had, or was in the sellers fault? Does the Ciguena frame have a standard disc mount position comared with most bikes, inc mountain bikes?

Who's in the wrong me or the seller?

Im afraid if you didnt state the frame you had your in the wrong.

its easilly sorted though, adaptors dont cost alot.:)

Yeah, well i'll just order the +40mm now and see what he has to say.

I didn't state what fame i had, but he didn't ask.

I said i just wanted a pair of hope mono trials, 180 and 200mm, and the adaptors to fit.

Does the Ciguena have a shorter disc mount compared with most bikes?

No I don't think so, its just that a few bikes like bigman said already have a sort of +20 adapter built in...

- Heavily braced rear disc mount is at a +20 position, meaning a 20mm larger rotor can be used for more power, ideal for competition riding!

(MBK)

Edit: Typo

Ciguena's just have a std ISO rear mount, meaning that a front 180mm caliper is needed to get a rear 160mm caliper, looking at the pics i presume you are wanting to run a 200mm rotor, so yes you need a +40 (which you have ordered (Y))
