Not Paying For Petrol

Right, I need some petrol but have about 20p to my name. Was thinking about filling up, then going in and doing the ol' forgotten my wallet routine. Is there a form I can fill out or something so I can go back and pay when i've got money? (Only a few days)

A lot of petrol stations (The big ones) will make you leave your car! So it probably isn't worth the risk. I did it once accidently and the bloke let me come back after taking my name. Can't you borrow some money or dip into an overdraft? There must be someone??

Leave your car? that's stupid, the whole idea of filling up is so you can drive, I'm sure people genuinly forget thier wallets all the time n dont need to leave thier cars. Seems a bit odd.

I work in a Somerfields petrol station

iff you just drive off they've got your car reg written down and got you on CCTV and stuff so they just give your details to someone who tracks it and you get sent a fine or summat

If you go in and give the forgot my wallet bull they take your details and you fill a form in then you have like 7 days to pay for it. if you don't pay within that time you get sent a fine

Just don't drive off because whoevers dserving at the time gets a bollocking off the supervisor and stuff, sometimes they make the staff member pay for it aswell

I wasn't planning on just driving off, I see that as theft and its not one of my favourite pastimes. I have every intention of paying for my feul, just not today.

Me and my mate luke went to sainsburys petrol station but we actually did genuinly forget our wallet.

They asked us to fill out a form we had to puut down like 3 poeoples numbers that can get in contact with us.

And we was there 4 about half hour trying to ring people that can verify who we are!

Luckily we used there phone hehe!

Too much hassle to be honest!

Just get some when you have the money.

Im sure you can bike/walk places

That's a bit stupid isn't it? How are the staff supposed to stop someone doing it? Make them run out and jump on the back of the car so they stop?! >_<

I went into a Shell near me the other week to get some petrol, went in and my card was refused because the money for my Insurance was taken out before it should have been.

The woman said she needed something with my details on it, luckily I had the insurance paper with my breakdown cover number on so I gave her that, she took the rest of my details and let me go.

That's bull, they can't do that!

How can a supervisor stop someone driving off?

they can't

when it gets really busy and your on the till on your own, quite a few people do drive off, and when they do you get a telling off for it... they said to me iff it happens a few times then you have to start payng for it because your costing the company money each time it happens

f**k knows

used cooking oil is free from chip shops/chinese. you gotta filter it, and mix it with diesel. but it is cheaper!

won't work in a petrol engine though

erm

cheapest solution

wait till dark (ie now) take length of hose, crowbar and petrolcan to a neighbours house and siphon some of theirs out (Y)
