New or second hand?

Oh and this is in chit chat so I assume you're looking for advice rather than a Wanted ad?

Check out Maplin.

They have an offer on a Seagate 500GB for £80 at the moment. Or for something like £60 there's a Maxtor 320GB which I got about a month ago. No problems with it, it just looks a bit duller than the Seagate one! But at the end of a day so long as it works a hard drive is a hard drive.

But anyway yeah maplins are always good just got the seagate one works great its an external harddrive does what it says on the box basically.

Don't get the Western Digital MyBook. I bought one last week, it was £75 for a 320GB model which is fine by me, but it's quite a letdown really. In the pictures it looks all swish and sturdy but the build quality is piss poor, and the case is made from plastic instead of brushed aluminium like you'd expect it to be.

My WD Elements drive I bought a few weeks before that (250gb, £45) is much sturdier.

I bought the WD Mybook Premium. Got no complaints with it, the build quality is better than the normal MyBook. It's a lot more expensive though, but then again the light on the front is blue rather than green :D
