Matthew_Gibson
What you think? It still need the draws made up, work to on, also there going to be a vice on the top. I'm really pleased with it! All the metal cost me about £27ish, the clamp was £39.99. Not bad! Any other things you'd like to see post em, It will help me with my folder work. Thanks!! Muel
Nay bad Matteh, nay bad.Post up when it's done yeh?You could put a woodwork vice underneath, and the mount the metalwork one onto a wooden block so you can clamp it up in the woodwork vice? My old school used to have them, seemed pretty useful. If you can't afford 2 vices, just say in your paperwork you were thinking about it, but having two vices didn't fit into the project budget. PaRtZ
Looks good! but you sure a dark veneer will look good? Im not saying a light one will, but it looks a beast as a steel frame and not sure if itd go.Heres my mates DT project. Can you guess what it is? lol Just to give you a brief idea of the wood + steel combo. He simply drilled a hole through them both and used a nut and bolt (m6 or m7 i think, im that sad) to stick em together
