The Stig
Ok right plug it in look inside/open it up. Clear all the songs. Then get a new folder and fill it with you desired songs copy em into there then copy that file into the drive and then unload that file then delete the empty file

Adam-Griffin
Hmmm, opened the hidden files and found a folder called "media" clicked it and it cam up with " Audio" clicked that and it had the old song's in it, deleted them all and then removed the cable from the PC and tunred it on, none of the song's played as i'm assuming the data wasnt there, all the file names where though

br3n
What kind of mp3 player is it? Unless its an apple one it wont be tied to itunes.I had a small pen-drive-like mp3 player when they were pretty new and it had a button on the side which made it read-only (so you couldnt change the files on there) kind of like the old floppy disks had... check for something like that.If not, if you right click the drive in my computer it should give you the option to format, Thats a way of deleting all thats on there - Dont know if that'll solve getting stuff on after though. JonMack
It's a Phillips Go Gear which is tied to Phillips Digital Media Manager according to my research.
weebryan
It's a Phillips Go Gear which is tied to Phillips Digital Media Manager according to my research.i have one of those and mines is doing the same the media player i had to use is jukebox v9.0 i can put songs on put they wont play through the headphones but plays through the computer so i bought a sony that needs no software to transfere, just plug in and pull the music into it
Charlie Jennings
Format the b*****d I'm guessing you use windows. so right click and go to format. its fairly easy. Edited November 17, 2007 by cjskate
Tomm
Format the b*****d I'm guessing you use windows. so right click and go to format. its fairly easy.DON'T DO THAT. Chances are that nothing will happen (it'll just wipe the player of all music) but there's a risk you could delete something important off it - like the ability to play songs. Seems pretty obvious that you just have to use the correct Phillips software.
