Tomm
It's not a Windows feature as such - it's specific to your Wireless card/stick.Basically a lot of wireless cards have two modes of working - one where you install software from the maker of the card, and one where you just use the windows config thing. That box is just asking you to choose which one to use. I would try uninstalling the program for the card - just leave the drivers. Other than that I'm not sure - perhaps updated driver have fixed that issue?
Fish-Finger-er
mine doesnt run RaConfig, but it runs another a program, and always gives me a choice/selects the first one automatically. however, if you can go into raconfig(or whatever your wireless card/sticks connection program is called) trawl through the options and when it comes to "connectivity client" or "connection program", may be able to tick windows wireless control, or windows zero, or whatever. and either untick the other one, or just have the one selected.pretty long shot, and probably not quite how you do it for yours, but it worked for mine. MadManMike
Yeah my Belkin used to do that, just open RaConfig or whatever and select "Use Windows" or whatever... disable RaConfig in it's settings basically.
RobinJI
"How do I get rid of this?" question number 2:A little popup speach buble thing keeps coming up on my laptop saying there is a power surge in the usb port hub.. well, something very close to that. thing is this is like all the time, even if theres nothing conected to it. It comes up with a list of like 8 ports, then i click reset like it says to and it goes away for a bit, but before long its back. Its in the bottom right where all the 'new device detected' things come up.
