BenLeacock™
i'm pretty sure you can only buy them as 'hope hoops' which come on a 26" dt swiss xc rim. so me think they're for xc use. they look beefy enough and you can hear the freehub from a mile off. we had some floating round work a while back. they come with disc mounts too which supports the for xc/not for road theory!basically a guy at work (bike shop) is running a hope pro3 wheelset on dt swiss rims on his xc bike. they're straight pull spokes and have got disc mounts. you can only buy them as the wheelset and not individual hubs.they dont have disk mounts ? Captain Scarlet
The main production Pro 3's have no disc mounts. However there was a limited number Pro 3 wheel sets, these had the disc mounts on them.Looked pretty pimp too. mafu26
my mate at work (bike shop) pre-ordered some wheels from hope at the start of the summer, i think he got them about a month ago. they were the hope hoops wheelset. i'm guessing these ones are the limited amount ones, with a disc mount. they look pretty sweet, strange that hope arn't making the full production ones with disc mounts... i'll try and get some pics when i see him next. Dekes
Sorry to bump this but i'm looking for a front non-disc hub for my trials bike, in the back i will be using a pro 2 trial. Is the pro3 ok for the front wheel on a trials bike?
craigjames
it maybe ok, but there are plenty of more suitable hubs available.

Is the pro3 ok for the front wheel on a trials bike? Yes. I've had one for months, couldn't ask for a better front hub.
