Smoby
Are you going to take the stuff off you’re Mag and use them on your echo? That’s what I did with my Monty and I saved lots of money just brought the obvious things that I knew would look rubbish on a Monty like:Forks, Bars, Headset, back wheel and some more bits and bob's.Cheers Craig

Sorry couldn't resist.
Muel
i will take them of my t magI do hope you have Echo Lite forks, because other wise, don't waste your money on a new frame, back brake and all that bollocks.A set of Onza forks will probably weigh about the same as the new lite frame! JDâ„¢
i've got to admit i'd rather have a heavier bike that was light on the front (t-mag with echo lite forks for instance) then a light frame, rear wheel etc that was front heavy. do we not spend most of our time with the front wheel up?J
Ladd
I would just change all the parts over from the t-mag and see how it feels if it dont feel very nice order some new bits for it Eg forks , rear wheel

Sorry couldn't resist.it's a 08, gg are mint bikes and they DON'T fall to bits why the hell would it cost £3600 then
Muel
Well, I am so sorry for expressing my views.I'm not a f**king weight freak, my bike weighs nearly 9.5kg!Wtf are you being serious you tool, your saying dont get a new frame and rear brake and wheel because of his forks. In short, yes. But actually what I meant was, sort the forks out before doing the other upgrades.it's a 08, gg are mint bikes and they DON'T fall to bits why the hell would it cost £3600 then3 of my mates have them. They do fall apart, regularly. One is a 06 250, has already had to have a little end and main bearings replacement, and the second gear sprocket exploded and trashed the gearbox. They are excellent bikes though, very light and easy to manage, but I wouldn't get one, my TY is enough bike for me, and I love beating people at comps when they have the latest modern bikes, and my rattley, underpowered heavy 1980s relic.I can wheelie for longer than any of my GasGas/Beta mates as well. Muel
the 06 had problems but gas gas uk told us that they build then a lot better quality nowWell they would wouldn't they? Their job is to sell you a motorbike.Anyways, that's only one bike, my other mate has a 07 280, it's a beast. Why did you get a 125? I rode a Raga 125, it was even less powerful than my bike. I might get a more modern bike, at the moment I'm looking for a 1993-1996 GasGas TXT 370, I've ridden the smaller 320 version from 95, it was an absolute beast, I have never ridden a bike more powerful. A 125 teachs you not to relie on power and to get great technique especially with the clutch. And eventually when you go up to a bigger bike you will be a absolute beast as you have all the technique and have more power.
