Grind

Yet again another pointless, effortless topic, do it you're self ?

to be honest it isn't the easiest thing to do. But he is right try using the Wiki and doing it yourself.

heres my version:

1. Remove your rim

2. Take tyre and tube off

3. If you have a grinder using a cutting disk and using from 45 degree angle to a 90 degree angle run the grinder over the rim.

4. the less of the angle the less harsh grind

5. clean up and have a great time riding :)

Or use this http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....amp;hl=grinding

Thanks Tom

PENGELLY CAN APARENTLY

WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111

HAVE A COOKIE>

EDIT: Yeah just smash your rim with a grind, skim the disc across the braking surface, may need to do like 3 lines next to each other to cover the whole sidewall.

Just get an old rim and try it out, you'll quickly see how easily it can be done.

For harsher grinds just push down more, tilting the grinder at a different never seems to make a difference for me <_<

Also, there isn't really a need to take your tyre off, I never do and never have problems. Just makes the sidewalls of my tyres look a bit scruffy.

when i have done grinds in the past i have put the wheel in a vice via the end of and axle , so when you girnd the rim, the wheel turns with it so it gives a nice smooth finish!

that way gives you a crap grind, not ridged enough and is too smooth!

you need to put a fair bit of pressure down on the rim!

so do it as advised Boss!

:D
