Adam-Griffin
Fresh bleed, decent pads and maybe a grind
dandadude
Did your brakes suddenly stop working as good as they used too? As you should only need a bleed if there is air in the system and that dosn't usually happen overnight (unless you caught the pipe of course)! If not you might have nocked it or something, make sure everythings lined up and the pads are as close to the rim as possible without rubbing, actually a small amount of brake block lightly touching isnt too bad. And if that fails a grind is better than tar in my experience.Im sure if you use the search there would be hundreds of topics on this subject.Dan Edited November 11, 2007 by dandadude

jon boy lufbra
i found that after a while my brake would move outwards in the mounts, have you set them as close as poss to the rim? i use a gap of about 2 cds thickness, get the pads as close as u can.. even a small change in this can make a difference... or so iv found! cleans ur pads aswell! jon. adamantmatt
You could have lazy pads!
Ravemonkey
Lazy pistons wouldnt give the above effect, good bit of tar and standard pads, or a grind and good trials specific pads e.g koxx bloxx, rock pads etc would give you back your brtake performanceIt could also be the cylinders moving in their moints, check theyre correctly tightened, and that the tthreads havent gonea brake booster , if youre not running one, would help stop braking power being wasted on frame flex....
