Dai the Socket
How much you got to spend and how much music do you want to store on it? Bothered about video capabilities?

Dai the Socket
Well personally I've had iPods with the majority of the crowd and find them decent.I had my old Nano robbed so using an old school Mini at the moment but gna get an iPod Touch soon. If you can stretch an extra tenner you could get a classic for £159 which is 80gb, big screen for better video and you can store ripped movies on it which could come in handy.Or you've got the 8gb new Nano for £129 which has a smaller screen.Apart from apple stuff you've got Creative and some Sony ones which are okay but don't sell anywhere near as many units as Apple's. The 1 year warrenty on Apple stuff is good and you can buy £39 apple care which gives you 3 years warrenty so you'll get one replaced or fixed within 2 days if you take it to Apple.Up to you really. TomR
iPods are generally shit sound quality compared to other brands but the compatibility of the iPod is immense so you may aswell get one for simlicities sake and line apples pockets further. James
ipod all the way. its small, light, stylish, holds plenty of tunes, has video and picture at a really good quality resolution and sound absolutely fine unless your a real sound geek, which even then it sounds ok. and for £139 or something like that, u cant go wrong.only downside to the pod would be the rediculous placement of the hold switch and it can scratch easy.gets my recomendation.
