Gavyn.
You'll need to buy a shock pump, or ask your local if you could borrow it quickly, depending on how heavy you are, you'll want it at around 150psi. And you can get to the valve on the right side of the fork, by unscrewing the cap ontop of the crown (right, if you're sitting on the bike)Not sure which Epicons they are, but if I remember tomorrow i'll have a look at it? Or why don't you look on them? lol. And also, why do you need to know? What's wrong with them?I was being a retard, in 2007 they only made one model of epicons in 08 they've made 6 my bikes the 07 so it'll have the old forks nothing really wrong with them, I'm going to buy a shock pump as they are a bit soft I've been hucking it off some good 10-15ft drops and going up and down stairs quite alot too so it's no wonder really.front wheel bearings are f**ked though so I might take it in and tell the guy that see if he'll sort me out with a new front wheel banshees are ace though rides just aswell as my mates kona coiler but I can put my seat down further for about an inch extra clearance for downhill. I'll make some kind or freeride akkers style video soon

Kind regards Carla Assistant PR Managerchuffed Congratulations dude. I was on the squad for 2006 and they were really good to me. They didn't do it for 2007 so I was a bit annoyed when I saw the requests for applications, 2 weeks after I had resigned! Do you have any idea who the other guy is? If your as lucky as I was you will get a full bike and spares for the year. You will probably have to push them a lot for help and support though. They are busy with other projects and really didn't ask much of me. There were talks about doing demos which would have been awesome but it never happened.Oh and if I remember correctly, Carla is a pretty cute blonde in mid twentys
The Stig
is the team only for full time employees? i wouldn't mind giving it a go.... i ain't AMAZING but always improving
Matt Burrows
No its for any employee. When I was on the team a few of the other guys were from head office and the rest were part time youngsters. 1 guy only did 4 hours a week! All I did was send in my video with a letter saying what I was about and where I wanted to go.

Dan6061
Halford's is such a crap job! especially when you get boss' that take it all seriously...Was a right good laugh when I first started, just so laid back, and we still got everything done on time. We won some money for selling the most accessories or something? And we were top in the area for ages! Then the good boss' left, and we got new dickhead ones that thought we didn't know anything in bikehut. Then they were asking me 'technical' questions about bikes thinking I wouldn't know, like 'So how do you set these disc brakes up?' and 'how would you service a bottom bracket?' So to take the piss and gave long, detailed answers. His face was brilliant. Then they decided to employ a load of part-timers, and we thought they'd get people that knew their stuff to help us out (we were getting way under-staffed!) but no, they employed loadsa noobs that knew nothing at all. One girl in Bikehut said 'I can't even tell the difference between the front and back wheels' So yeah, for some fun we went out the back and rang the store number, and one of the new people answered so we asked them to see if they had loads of stuff in stock (That doesn't exist) and what the best bike is, and for her to explain it to us."Errr...well, it's a blue one, it has suspension I think and a comfy seat...errr...errr...it has good tyres and wheels and stuff"

Captain Scarlet
Our refurbishment is almost done.Bikehut now has more storage space than the rest of the shop. And the bigger upstairs means more stock.Today the store was closed because heavy winds blew big panes of glass out of place, and some fell in the car park. Captain Scarlet
News on Halfords anyone?I got sent to another store, as the store I work at was closed for a week due to the high winds. All the bikes are going back up upstairs on Thursday, after being downstairs whilst the store was refurbished, so we'll have a nice new desk to hide behind. =D
