Off The Rails

Some damn good precision there (Y)

I always wondered if such 180s on rails were possible... you proved it!

Hey, Just saw your vid. I like your rolling style. A short bike looks like a lot of fun.

I had some other ideas coming... but then quite some bits of my bike need replacement before I commit to them. Poopipe witnessed some interesting crashes... which tuned down some of the other moves I was trying.

Hopefully will come back with more ^_^

Thanks for all your comments...

i've got to say.....i find your choice of music verrrrrrry annoying.....

ballsy stuff though...180's on the rails dialled! and some very nervy bollard work...wouldn't catch me doing that :S

 ha ha ... well, I guess it's a change from heavy metal

I think drum and bass goes well with hops and trials stuff in general. Out of curiousity, what would you recommend?

Else, surprisingly, I didn't have too many slipperage on these bollards (and they are not ball-threatening high anyway ;) ), so I found it easier than it looked. You gotta try to make up your mind. A lot of that stuff is just getting well focused, not so much physical. Getting rid of the mental barricades and seeing the reality for what it is. :shifty:

That's what makes trials so mentally challenging. ^_^

The first couple of clips were pretty sub standard of your skills <_< , but the latter stuff was shear class and originality :o . the best clips were the close up shot of you hopping and stalling for absolutely ages on that blue post :o (half the width of the tyre tread was hanging off the post :S amazing balance or were you leaning your upper body part on something the camera doesnt show?), simply sick. and the 180 hop to gap on those low curved railings :S . for a minute there after the gap, i thought you would have gapped backwards then forwards again then dismount off, that would have been a really sick multiple combo move (Y)(Y). how the hell do you ride with that wobble looking front wheel? :S

Street-Cred through the roof!!

It's nice to see you pull off lines you've been considering for ages! Bollards are sick.

Did have a Street Cred assessor for all these funny combos though ;) When are you back?

Ha ha, actually, I really surprised myself there, I normally hopped onto the posts and balanced upright before the kick, but here, I was so much on a near-miss that I couldn't kick straight away without risking to slip, so I waited and tried to regroup over. I didn't think I would make it and it felt like I was hanging there for ever  (the slow motion is only twice the time) , then I managed to regroup over to kick well aligned... no cheating.

It' s funny 'cause I had seen them small bollards a long time ago, but had never thought anything of them until actually trying.

But more combos when I have fixed the bike. Front wheel is hardly down so it doesn't make a difference. ^_^
