Matthew_Gibson
I was riding my bike the other day, and my foot hit the brake arm, I looked at the arm, and the adjuster had bend, So I took it out today at work and the threads are goosed. I'll be replacing the full brake. Main question is. Is the SD7 any more consealded or is it something I'll have to live with?ThanksEDIT:Avid Single Digit 7 2008 (Off CRC) [£16.99]Avid SD7 (off Tarty) [£28]Avid Single Digit SL 2007 (CRC) [£29.99]Just a bit confused, are they all different brakes? The one for £16.99 of CRC will that be as good or worse as the bottiom two, (which are the same???) Luke Rainbird
What were you on before?Did you have any room to set them up a touch more 'inward'?Booster, perhaps? If not, I've got an SD7 kicking about somewhere you'd be welcome to try
matt rushton
The SD7s are the same on Chain reaction as they are on Tarty Proberly because Chain reaction will be able to put in bigger orders then Tarty will, so they get them cheaper?? not sure. But the Bottom brake is a Differnt model, I coulnd't tell you what the differences are though.
Bionic Balls
http://sram.com/_media/pdf/en/avid/specs/AVID_Rim_Brakes.pdferr...sl is best
Brian Bleech
The SL is just a bit lighter, with some alloy bits instead of steel. It won't work any better.
