Will Arnold
Whats wrong with me at the moment? I can so easily sleep for like 12-14 hours a night, and even once I've sort of woken up it takes a real mission for me to get up. I can go back to sleep if I want for another 2 hours no problem. Maybe I have aids. sleep for less time and you'll want to sleep less in the day!think about it, if you sleep for alot longer than you should, you'll be in a super relaxed state and will want to go back to sleep!LAZY bugger! unless its your foot asking for more healing time? poopipe
I did 90 hours during my degree project with nothing more than weed and coffee to keep me going - Things got pretty f**king weird after the 60 hour mark. I fell asleep on the sofa and muy sister held a lighter to my big toenail for a fair while before i woke up in agony and punched her in the kidneys

Takes me about 2-3 hours get sleep.I guess it's all about routine though.Danny.Is that really a sleeping disorder? MadManMike
Is that really a sleeping disorder? It takes me about 3-4 hours to get to sleep every nightI guess anything stops you sleeping or makes you sleep too long is a disorder!I generally go to sleep at about 1am and get up at 8 - once you're in the routine your body just deals with it! Tomm
That sucks. I get annoyed if it takes me longer than 3-4 minutes to fall asleep.HTH

Tomm
My foot itches, which I've been told is a good sign it's getting back to full health?Doesn't that just mean you've had it in a cast so long that your skin is all decomposing and developing that lovely vinegar smell? Token
Doesn't that just mean you've had it in a cast so long that your skin is all decomposing and developing that lovely vinegar smell? Maybe It's only just started doing it after 3 weeks of getting out of the cast, be pretty crap if my skins only just started decomposing now. I'm gona be optimistic an hope it's a sign it's getting better. Losing a foot right now would top my life off.
Tomm
Oh you're out of the cast? You're not going to lose your foot, I just meant that minging smell that people in a cast get when they haven't been able to wash their leg for weeks. Stop being so melodramatic
hI-OOPS-CAPS
My dad went without for 2 weeks straight and went bipolar, got sectioned and spent 7 months in hospital.bipolar is manic depression isnt it? i find that hard to believe he got a mental condition, care to explain? Tomm
bipolar is manic depression isnt it? i find that hard to believe he got a mental condition, care to explain?Yes, bipolar = manic depression. You're probably right. Without being too matter-of-fact (this is his Dad we're talking about), I would assume that the reason he thought he could stay up for two weeks was because he wasn't in his right mind. It would be quite typical of someone in a manic phase to do something like that. Then again, sleep is supposed to be important for your mental health and if you're susceptible to mental health problems (you may not know you are) then perhaps lack of sleep could be the last straw.
