Rusevelt
Actually, i was doing a search on that last night at work and found an american company that sells 3AL Titanium tubing (think there is something on Ebay type in steel tubing) and its not as expensive as everyone makes out. frame building businesses simply charge xxX AMOUNT for the total overheads package of the frame(as much as 500% more than the actual cost). if i find more specific stuff, ill edited it on here. Ashley Smith
really? like normal brazing technique? doesnt it crystalize at quite a low temperature though and looe strength too?we braze titanium at work, special braze is used and its a bit more of a complexed procedure than the type of brazing you use for steels, welding titanium isnt easy either, everything has to be soo clean and a sufficient supply of shielding gas

David
Elmdon are the suppliers of T45 in the UK but they have minimum order lenghts. When I built my frame I got some tubing from clive at Curtis, cost me a bit more then I would from elmdon but he gave me the lengths I required. Prepare for a lot of working building a frame! Good luck.Dave
