Krisboats
Very nice man they look really smart, i'm looking forward to getting my 400d all the more now, though i don't think i'll be getting such a beasty fisheye lens. Do you use it for anything other than riding?
Dan Clark
I've got a Nikon fisheye, and I was sorta worried I'd get bored of it quickly, especially because it cost me £400, but I haven't at all and I use it a lot.If you have the money, fisheyes are more useful than they seem. Dai the Socket
Hey, I tried PMing your but TF wasn't having any of it?Anyway, what camera and other equip you use adam? Really decent pics, I like all of them and the adjustments you've done from previous pics work really well. What fisheye and flash(es) you using? Triggers? Triggers?Yo Nick, I've got PMs turned off... :$ As for equipment: 400D, Tokina ATX-DX 10-17 fisheye, Sigma Super EF 530 flash, using the popup flash on the camera as a trigger for the Sigma which was sat on the floor. Manual focusing cos the auto just refuses to work in the dark!I use the fisheye for loads of other stuff, general pics (was handy at MPH Show the other weekend), landscapes... although it can get a bit distorted sometimes. Brakes... Dave has the 07 Tarty Trial SL brakes Me too for that matter! Thanks for the comments, hopefully will get some more taken this week (too tired for riding!)Ads

Manual focusing cos the auto just refuses to work in the dark!Don't worry just means I'm clogging your thread up so I'll try say stuff briefly What's your verdict on the lens? I've seen it for £259 from OneStop Digital and have read pretty good reviews from a site called Photozone.Tempted to buy one. Cheapser than the 10.5 and a lot more versatile being 10-17mm. What's the quality like? It's got AF hasn't it, just no switch on the lens so you need to just use the one on your camera body - that correct? Any other info about it you think's worth considering? Thanks, Nick
AdamR28
Haha, tis fiiine... all the pics are at the top anyway I like the lens, I can't fault it although I have nothing to compare it to... That was the same price I paid for mine, really good considering RRP is about £500!Quality is good, I did some test shots for (Leeds) Tim in the random photo thread here: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....t&p=1398881. If you want some full scale crops just let me know It does have an AF/MF switch on the side (just I found the AF is pants in the dark), its reasonably quiet and pretty fast to focus as well (full range in ~1/2 a second). Other info... everything feels really good, all the connections and rings are tight and fluid (nothing like my standard floppy lens) and it's a nice weighty bit of kit.
