El Cristoff
Hello everyone,Since i have been riding, i have always sworn by the Gusset Tank chain. Its only up until recently that i have discovered how shite they actually are, after my new one wrinkled and kinked after a day of riding. So, its come down to these two chains. Good points/ bad points ect would be great thanks.CheersChris x Edited October 29, 2007 by elcristoff-t-pro

Mike W
Get a khe, had mine a couple of weeks and it seems really good, dead stiff compared to a kool, the stiff links dont happen as much as people say !Mike

Ticker
Get a KMC they are lighter but still strong. The KHE is just too big and heavy, no need for such a big chain.
manuel
KMCbut if youve had an old chain on for a long time youll probably need new cogs - as they will be worn to the stretched old chain .... and will accellerate wear on the new chain. best solution is to get a checker off ebay for cheap and check every now and again for stretch - that way you can replace a chain before it goes to far and save the cogs. The Duck
Hm, I've always used KMCs. Fine as long as you use the split link. From what people say though, looks like its KHE + Lube =

Matthew_Gibson
I had one on my bike for about 4-5 mnonths, NEVER went stiff. I did oil mine though! I use the wax stuff. The green stuff from halfords.

Phil H
how often do KHE's go stiff? like after one ride? Not atall, I've had mine for a couple of months now, maybe 4 and if its got stiff links I certainly don't know about them! Only really get stiff links where you split and put together the chain but you can ease them out.Phil
Captain Scarlet
Half link chains ftl. KHE Collapse's look nicer than KMC's, I got a black one to go with my colour co-ordination.It also has a flat edge on one side, so it sits flush to protect it from damage. Greetings
Used a KHE for over 2 years and it didn't snap once. Snapped a few KMC chains though.
Nick Garland
If you looked after your bike and service is as required then a KMC is fine. Also when your chain has stretched you are meant to replace it. I change mine every 6 monthsish.
