dont think at all. that how i do them.

literally go up and throw yourself off

Thats abit stupid because he is asking how to perfect his technique insteed of throwing himself he wants to know ow to do it nicly insteed of hurting himself by throwing himself off.

Well i recommend that u asses the gap drop and think if you think you cant do it then dont. Do it when your are good enough.

Always focus on the point you want to land on and i always straighten my legs in the air as if i was leaning backwards and then bend your knees as you hit where ever you are going to smooth the landing and keep the recoil through the bike to a minimal.

trust me it will work a treat.

Right if were on about perfecting his technique and landing them smooth here we go.

Get up on the wall and look at both the drop and the gap involved. Make sure you are not not just taking a massive difference between this one and previous drop gaps you've done. If you think it's out of your league...Don't do it.

Get on backwheel. Get to the edge and look at it...You now know what your up against. Get off the bike, Take a minute and get on your bike again, go to the edge on backwheel. Remember, don't rush, be nice and relaxed, make sure your confident and are not too scared to put your full gapping effort in to it.

When in the air, keep your eye fully focused on your landing point at all times...DO NOT CLOSE YOUR EYES. Remember when in the air, pick the bike up, so sort of tuck in air to make the bike higher so that you can gap further.

When it comes to the landing, Flick the back end of the bike out and make sure it's going to land on the wall/Kurb. Then when you land on the wall, as soon as your wheel hits the wall, bend your legs and sort of compress the landing by bending your legs and so your arse is as low as possible.

Ride off with a big smile...Your done. :)

Yo. Josh you are in no situation to be telling somone how to drop gap the reson being you cant even hop yet let alone drop gap.

and yeah if you feel your not ready then dont do it but you have to push the limits at some stage :)

Get over here and i'l show you!

Lil tips;

Be a tad more over the back wheel as when you land forward momentum (sp) will force your front down/you down

Hold on like fook

"Floating" down is more comfatable than kicking like hell and hoping i find

on that note too, keep your eyes where your aiming to land and extend/tuck your legs depending how precise you need to be on your landing

P.s when will you be over again?

Ben.
