echo_rob
I think that we should help people who may be losing interest in trials. So what can you do to keep interested and riding trials???I think that you can take a break from trials for a bit and then get back in to it.any ideas? Grant Hundley
Most people loose interest if there not improving or they just have other things to do like work/college.But sometimes you go out for a ride and you start improving/pushing yourself you will want to ride again. Broomer
Im was loosing intrest in trials due to work commitments etc. but looking back at some riding photos and vids its got my wanting to ride again.
NileBrownâ„¢
What I found to get people to be more intrested is to get as many riders as you can. If you go out with someone who is about to quit and they sit there, challenge them to a game of PIG or what ever - thats what gets people into it. If you let them win the game then they'll think tice about quitting as they would start to enjoy what they are doing.

Scoobinda
think everyones covered the main things like ride with different people an new locations... buyin new bits does make u want to go out an test them, an ill back up that work does get in the way from riding, but i definatly think its our bloody weather that kills the scene so much. it doesn't put you in the motivated mood cause u think it probably just end up raining the min you walk out the door. hot late summer rides are the business but when do we get them anymore!!!!! anyways its just a theory, anyone thinking long the same lines,,,
mrlynch
Maybe try making a little video. This might make your riding improve because you might push a bit harder and you might feel like you are getting something out of riding. Andy. Mike W
because riding bikes with no seats prevents this...Its a reason to quit not to keep riding. and its hardly serious, facking hell.Seriously, if people really want to quit i dont think there is much going to stop them, if you have thought of quitting your clearly not having fun anymore Edited November 6, 2007 by t-comp-mike
Greetings
Loosing interest myself, have been for a long time. A few months ago I had a choice of either selling my bike, or spending a huge amount of money on a Ti frame which would hopefully make me want to ride again. That didn't work.Nobody rides over here, the spots are boring and running a trials shop has totally put me off riding because I'm dealing with trials all the time and just want to get away from it. Getting myself an A1 in a week, hopefully that will make me want to ride again but I doubt it

I might be coming back there again in march/april time, if you want to ride.Far away (Poznan), but please give me a shout before you come over, I'd love to go there and ride with somebody new oh yeah and I've tried a mod, wasted 5 years riding one, it was a counter-productive period for me Rode street as well as freeride, downhill and xc. Not much left to experiment with Edited November 8, 2007 by Inur
