Keo GTI
Hi everyone i have been a memeber on here for ages but not realy posted. I used to do trials about 5 years agao, i had a t bird with hs33's. But kind of lost interest when my bike kept breaking and everyone quit. A few years later i got a t pro, but it mainly sat in the garage, then last weekend me and a mate decided to start trials again But stupidly i rode my bike and forgot to make sure everything was tight, resulting in a more or less brand new t pro with a stripped bottom bracket. So now i need a new frame, what would people recommend? The GU Thyphoon looks nice but i arent sure if it is out yet, another option is the echo. I like the Zoo Python but the lack of bash gaurd realy puts me off, is it ok with just a bash ring? So i cant wait to start riding again, im from stoke so when i finaly do get my bike sorted and any riders are up for a ride give me a pm. Adam-Griffin
All the deng ( maker of zoo!, echo GU etc) are pretty good and yes a python is fine with a bash ring rather than a gaurd, most peopl run rings rather than plates as they look silly also the GU is out but it may be worth waiting and seeing what 2008 brings ............ Keo GTI
I have thought about waiting untill 2008, but i want to get back riding lol. Another question, are there any advatages of having a long or short bike? I am only about 5'7 so i think a short will probably be better. kingkopity
right. there is no comparison between bashplate and ring. regardless of what it looks like. bashplate works as designed. i bought a 06 typhoon (bashring) rode it 4 a few months and just had to get rid. the bottom bracket over a longish period of time just wont stand up to the impact of using a guard for what its designed to be there for. got the 07 typhoon a few months ago and its great. buy it. you wont be disappointed. apparently the 08 typhoon is on the pulo website named pulo something (not much use i know) but you'll know it when you see It. tank
Apparently the czar is supposed to be a nice frame to ride, also a friend of mine has a Ko-bikes KM1, which is very nice to ride, although it could be his set up.
