Fixed Pants™
Kells, already tried that, didn't work.I don't think they want you to have the vid really, you could try screen recording it i guess, that's the only option to 'backup' dvds you buy/rent, but it ends up being a huge file. Bondy
Got an idea but it will prob take a few mins to get and do, basically download something called 'orbitdownloader' (google it), follow the instructions on how to download the .FLV file (which is the video itself and file it downloads it as) from the website that has the video, then get a .FLV player to play the file, or find a converter to convert the .FLV to .whatever file. fathopper
Cheers guys, just wondering if anyone know how to now convert the flv to a mpeg or avi to put into editing software like final cut pro for example? Or will it accept it as it is?
fathopper
Bump Anyone?
Tomm
The normal thing to do in your situation would be to try it Anyway, it should work. If not, you can always export it using VLC as an AVI/MPEG. Use the Wizard on the file menu.
fathopper
It doesnt except the flv file
Bondy
It doesnt except the flv file Try downloading via torrents (of course thats illegal though) a .flv converter (or try search for a free one on google), im sure theres plenty out there, trouble with using one off google searches is they are likely to be free trial versions and therefore either have a watermark on the video or will only convert a certain amount of a file.Other than converting it to a recognised format i cant think of much else.
