Blair d Posted October 21, 2007 Report Share Posted October 21, 2007 My mate scott went to do a drop gap of a bus shelter yesturday, tried it first time never made it, second time chain snapped landed on his hands, wrist bone was sticking out and he may have broke both his wrists also might have to get metal plates, was taken to hospital over night im not sure if he's home yet been tryed phonning him earlier but there was no answer, i wasn't there because i was through riding aberdeen, cant remember the whole story of what happened, but both his wrists may be broken,and he couldnt walk after, it has been caught on camera aswell. Ash-Trials Posted October 21, 2007 Report Share Posted October 21, 2007 Yeah my mate was going about 15-20 id say down a hill, just was riding, just went to hop up a curb, sounds silly but back wheel just tapped it and because he was going fast flew straight over bars i had to go chase bike because it was bouncing into road and he just got up and wasn't that bothered, took a big chunk out of palm of his hand and had loads of l;ike friction burns, but still managed to make a vid with us that day.Ive pulled a muscle in my back about 5 days ago and Ive only just been able to ride today but it still hurts, hope it goes soon.Ash~ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Riding down a road 1 handed, went into a pot hole bar got lodged on the floor then the other end went straight into my chest. Broke my rib and nearly punctured my lung, 15 days later ruptured my spleen had massive internal bleeding (2litres of blood in my stomch) refused to go to hospital untill i had blacked out 3 times, (because the time before i had to wait 11 hours and well couldn't be assed for the wait) so when i finially got to hospital i was in a right state and was touch and go but got straight into emergency surgery.... 15days later i was well enough to sign myself out Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Class Clown Posted October 22, 2007 Report Share Posted October 22, 2007 (edited) Mate was riding down a hill on his bmx had a helmet on fell off hit his head didnt know where he was took him home was sick everywhere then got taken to hospital with swelling to the brain had to cut the helmet off it was that much swelling and was dam close to dieing.
