Hendrix
Personally I'd rather download MadManMikes music, because it's free. But just remember. I'm a student at ACM. Their motto.... MAKE MONEY, make money and... ALWAYS MAKE MONEY......I'd never do it for free

Token
You see MadManMike would have a semi decent chance of pulling this off, partly because of his rep as being a decent DJ and the majority of people have heard a few of his promo tracks. Even then, people generally tend to download free stuff, because it's free. Paying for music is a thing of the past, I think Radiohead realised that when they released their Rainbow album. Atleast get a rep as making good music, before you expect to make money.
Hendrix
I do have a rep for making good music ? This is just another style I'm trying out It's gonna be checked over by professionals in the industry before I release it. OH, and the readiohead thing, after talking to various people who work with them, it's not what you think as to why they've released an album the way they have. Token
But you don't know what I think about why Radiohead would have released their new album only on the internet with a donation way of paying. So to say "it's not what I think" is abit prejudice. Anyway, good luck with selling your CD's, if you've got professionals sorting it out for you, it'll surely be a success. JonMack
I dunno if I'm the only one to think this, but you come across as a bit of a know it all douchebag, that's why I wouldnt buy your CD.
Fish-Finger-er
I dunno if I'm the only one to think this, but you come across as a bit of a know it all douchebag, that's why I wouldnt buy your CD.lol, i lovd the word douchebag there. but nah cant see why anyone(other than people such as family and close friends. who you probably wouldnt want to charge) would buy it, obviously youll get a couple of people interested enough to purchase it.simple reason, i cant say ive heard of the style that much before, so im not going to pay £4 for 3 tracks of something i dont like, when i could either download it for free, or pop down hmv, spend £3 on an old reduced album from someone whos artwork i like the look of, and see if i like that, if i do, i keep it, if i dont i flog it on ebay for near enough what i payed for it. either that or spend £6 on a classic dance album from a few years back, with 3 hours of music on it. Krisboats
Probably not no. Generally i'm pretty stingy with buying music. Unless i know for a fact i like it and it has something worthwhile in the case rather than a single piece of paper in the front then i won't be paying for it. MadManMike
I'm just working on a site, selling my tracks (Not mixes, my actual productions) for 50p each - saves hassle of postage and artwork - simple pay and download.I do no work, someone downloads 3 of my tracks, I get £1.50. Advertise in places, I get ten people downloading two tracks, I get a tenner...No disrespect to you but you need to alter your game plan - the days of ordering CD's off the net are over, unless it's a bargain or hard to find. Hendrix
I know the era of selling pucker CD's is ending, is good in some ways. But there are still plenty of shops which sell CD's, also loads which sell Amatuer & Unknown stuff, which is where I'm going to market it to be sold.I don't know why people are so stingy about buying music, probably due to limewire - and bit torrent.......anyway. Yeahh
Dr. Nick Riviera
you sell music based on it's own merit, not interest in a poor question.

Yeahh Because theres so much crap about nowadays. If i don't like it i won't buy it, its the same with most things. I'd be much more inclined to buy it mikes way though and see if it grows on me.
