Jason222
I've just ground my rim for the first time, and I'm finding my echo brake pads to suck on the grind. It was better with a smooth rim and tar, but now that I've already ground the rim, I want some good pads. I was thinking about the koxx bloxx pads...thoughts? powerz
Personal opinion but ive found the rock pads blue to be the best performing pads for a medium grind & they are great in wet or dry weather. Koxx browns are also very good although you will find they will kill your grind relatively quick.
Captain Scarlet
My friend had Onza Citrus pads on a medium grind and they work the nuts, the pads are brilliant for about any kind of rim, and a good price.Just be warned with using them on a mediumish grind is that they wear quite fast. El Cristoff
CoustSinks, i remember someone saying 'whack 'em on and your braking problems go away', too true.
Tomm
I'm well impressed with Plaz CRMs - old but good. Only in the dry, though.

Jimmy_k
Thanks guys, problem solved. I ordered a set of rock blues from thetrialsinshop I was going to say you can have mine but I'm too late. The rock pads dont seem to work anywhere near as good as my old koxx browns did. My brake seriously lacks bite with these pads. With the browns I never had to worry about the brake slipping, and they lasted just short of 3 years.
