*Tom*
Vista will only play some Avi. and Mp4. videos most play theres just a few that won't, is there anything i can download to sort this? . . . They won't play in I-tunes, Quicktime, Windows media player or Real player. Windows media and Real player just play the sound from the vids, but Quicktime and I-tunes open and dont play anything. . . . Thanks.Tom
Endohopper
I suspect you lack the neccesary decoding software called a CODEC . Problem is , there are many packs and types , and using several simultaneously can cause conflicts , often resulting in entertaining situations like video displaying upside down . A popular pack is the K-Lite codec pack .
wrongsideof40
Or you can download this a very good media player called VLC or videoLAN ( google it ) Its free (open source)and has a very small over head on the pc also it has nearly all the codec's you can ever want built into it . It will play most file types except rm files. If this player will not play the file then the file is not worth having
