aener
So I've got a Vee, with SD7 arms, on my T-Pro.Running a Hog rim, with a Crawler.Adaptors are handmade by Ed Potts (dave85), but are rather similar in geo to the Heatsink efforts.WAS running a Shimano XTR Carbon booster, but it doesn't fit anymore... Got a new chain, had to get new adaptors ad yada yada yada...It's too short, and the tyre just rubs it enough to start a fire Anyone fancy being a superGod-type thing, and letting me know what might be of adequate size?Did a search, to no avail. Thanks in advance (Haha, rhyme)-Flipp

Zordon
Depending on the seatstays geometry (works with my GU 07, didn't work with Monty 221Pr) adding some spacers under adaptors and/or booster (often together with getting longer bolts) will make a better tyre clearance. Pagie
i run vee on my 07 zoo! with new echo tyres.... i had the same problem but ive cable tied my cable that crosses over, but only with a little tension so it has no effect on the cable. May want to give that a try
aener
Grind the bit of your tyre that rubs?Might just have to.I wanted to be unique with a V on a mod.. Sorry.... Too late have you got any pics of the problem ?...And that's with it sitting ontop of the bolts!adding some spacers under adaptors and/or boosterI already did. This picture is taken with the booster ontop of the bolts though. Heatsink doesn't fit either:But THEN, I found a small gift from God, in the form of rollerblade bearings. The bit that sits inside the wheel, between the two cartridges, is almost a PERFECT M6/7 spacer. So now it's REALLY tall Be a man and grind away the problem. Thanks for your... er.... macho-input So I'm all sorted for now lads - cheers for all your input.I love how friendly other riders are - wether it's real life or not EDIT: Pagie - my cable's fine... it's the booster I'm on about. Also - sorry for uber-blurry pictures... One arm in a cast - so only one to use camera with.... Not a very good camera either Edited October 11, 2007 by Flipp
Zordon
It looks like you could extend the bolts' holes in the adaptors a bit so the whole brake together with the booster will move upwards and make some more room for the tyre.
