Sonny Clarke
Hello. Just a quick hello as i have recently just joined. My name is Sonny, i'm 15 and i live in brighton .I just discovered trials over the summer and can currently do 4-6 rear wheel hops, getting there!I ride a Shogun Gimp which i bought of the internet for £199.99. I am happy with it as it will do me as a starting bike.I also MTB aswell which is getting a little boring, reason for starting trials. Anyone else have an XC bike if so what is it and a picture if possible. Thanks! Sonny

Sonny Clarke
Hi welcome to the forum. Trials is great I don't own an XC bike as XC is just way to much effort i quite lazy!Haha, trials is equally knackering aswell seeing as there is no seat lol. The amount of times i've heard "wheres your seat"... It's SO annoying. And then they go on about how can you ride that and how come that back tyre is so thick... I am struggling with single speed at the moment.Going from many gears to none is very knackering but the gear ratio for trials is perfect. Only wish i could master rear tyre hopping now so i can do more.A quick question, what happens if you get sponsered, i gather you have to advertise the company by stickers or jersey but what to you get from them?Cheers Sonny Edited October 9, 2007 by Clarkey
