pietro
What is the difference between a 24' and a 26' (apart front the diameter size!).Why buy a 24' trial bike (eg. Onza zoot - Saracen Flea 3)?I'm trying to decide on my first trial bike, is a 24' better suited for a beginner?ThanksCiao
Alex Dark
24" bikes arent really beginner bikes in the true respect, most 24"riders tend to gravitate towards them as they consider them as a happy medium between 26 and 20". They are lighter and shorter than 26", 20" are even shorter than 24" and are a lot lighter. If you're a real beginner you're probably best off getting a mod (20") but if you like the idea of a stock and have a bit of strength and technique then that would be an ok option.Onza zoot (24")mad 2six, saracen flea etc (26")onza t-vee, mag, pro etc (20")^^ ^^all good beginners bikes Edited October 8, 2007 by dark_biker
Matt_Zoot
If you're planning on getting a 24" a onza zoot is a decent option. I've got one, its light, nice n hoppy, and damn good fun. The only drawback is its cockpit stance. I found that you tend to stand right over it which is a bit of a pain for a taller rider. Get yourself a nice tall stem n you'll be well away! Ash-Kennard
dont learn on a 24", will be hard to use for any real trials.its more for people who have ridden for years and prefer a style than to go massive. anyone can kick at a drop gap, not many people can tailwhip whilst on the back wheel. besides... the good 24"'s are very expencive, and the zoots are awful

punchtrial
i think you should try a a 26" bike...........most of 24" are urban trials bikes...................26" are more comfortable
