Try to pedal and pull up at the same time maybe...it's what I do.

Haha i read that you said your bike was to heavey and thought o he must be on a mountainbike and trying to use it for trials then so you said tmag and thought what a tosser. You will never be a good rider by making excuses about why you cant do anything, your bike isnt the problem its you. If you look at old school vids you will see the crazy stuff people where doing on what looks like a normal mountain bike.

Go out and ride with people who are better than you and they will be able to tell you first hand what your doing wrong and show you how to improve. You will find it 3 times as fast than reading things on here.

This shouldn't be a problem!

Bend the arms more, get closer to the bike to get the bike more upright.

I can backhop on my 36lbs bike, no problem!

... and i'm a noob!!

I did blame my bike a lot at first, but there's no reason(me being the problem).

Not for backhops anyway.

And you can hop on the front wheel??

the weight of the bike shouldnt make much difference.

Yer, It's you mate. Everybody had to learn hopping on the back wheel. Once you have dialed it, Trials will become much more fun.

You should be able to hop on the back wheel on any bike when learning. It's the most important thing in trials in my opinion.

Hope iv'e helped

maybe watch videos of trials riding on youtube, or search 'learn to pedal hop'' or ''how to pedal hop'' and watch better riders pedal hop (or as i call it ''skipy'') But theres nothing to it really you just hover your finger over the rear brake leaver pedal and pull up really then pull the back brake in when landing and make sure you are leaning back enough to continuosly skipy/pedal hop

USE THE SEARCH YOU f**kING NOOB!!

Seriously, why do you feel the need to post at least 1 wank topic every f**king day?!

your the f**king willy!! he's asking for help in trials! im suprised you didnt mention your t0master hub or something about a dual disc!

mate you had the same problem as a friend of mine, he found that practise is the only way... when u lift onto your back wheel, let go of the rear brake, lower your front a bit , and kick the pedals then lock your brake again :D

if not try www.trashzen.com :)

and to the noob up there ^^^^ yes you can front wheel hop!! NOOOOOOB!!!!!oneone111

take your time some people learn at different speeds and times try riding with better people, and most of all have fun on your bike if your not having fun while learning you tend to blame it on your bike.

I learnt to kick hop on a 20", i didnt own it. It was my mates and i just had a go now and again.

Now i can kick hop on anything with a half decent gearing.

the easiest way has to be to do a cradle then just kick forward.

The break/kick/breaking is a bit hard to get used to though.

I learnt to front-hop before I could back-hop. It's not that weird, but then again backhopping is much more useful.

Stop blaming the bike and practise more!

There are plenty of sites/threads on here that will teach you how to backhop. Use the search/google.
