Captain Scarlet
Does the brake still work when you pull the lever, if so, then no.Just put a ziptie or hose clip around it to hold it firm, just until you can buy a new master cylinder. Sir_Hops_Alot
Yeah the brake still works fine, i was just curious thats all. It's only a crack on the underneth nothing major, i think maybe ill go and loosen off me brakes, so it happens again they just move instead. manuel
nothing majorthat is going to shear off in no time ... bear in mind magura levers are made of a material with the properties of a cadburys flake - its going to go and it may end up hurting. Muel
I'd drill into it 3 times on either side of the crack then put some zip ties across, then wait for it to break properly.

Ticker
Mine did this, after a while your TPA will catch when you pull your brake in.You need a new lever but they are like £40 quid. Lookily for me a mate sold me a new brake for cheap.Or yeh by the way when mine went after riding it for a bit, it gashed my finger open. So i would get a new one. monkeyseemonkeydo
Damnit people, stop telling him it's fine- that's not a crack, it's SNAPPED! Completely dangerous to carry on riding it like that. Zipties?! Drill it?! WTF?! Buy a new one mate! bear in mind magura levers are made of a material with the properties of a cadburys flakeI prefer to think of it like an Aero... full of little air bubbles. Awesome quality. Awesome.
basher
As soon as you go for a gap or something where you will be leaning back and squeezing the leaver more than ususal it will just snap in half.
Ben Lazenby
Hi buddy. Before you go out riding again, get a new lever trust me.The other day I went for a drop gap, I landed and the lever completly snapped off was'nt too good for my arse or my back. Get a new lever before you go out again, could save you a serious injury.Hope iv'e helped. Thanks Ben.
