Do You Rate This Set Up?

to be honest apart from the hubs and the 06 rims all the rest is ok. the brake i hear has a few issues but frames forks new rims (and old) cranks, stems, bars, headsets and bbs all seem sound

People say the bars are but they flex like f**k, the brakes where poorly design and there was no quality control in place, the tpas eat them selves on them and dont work properly, theres not really much to go wrong on with a fixed rear hub and fornt hubs, the freehubs all die super quick. And like said the bearings arent all that good in the parts. The freewheels die also on most people, theres the problem with the forged cranks where the threads rip out altho mine are fine.

yeh ive seen you on one of the canadian forums. saw your vid.

bikes seem to be cheaper in canada for brand new bikes. hbtrials do a decent spec adamant for $1600 or so. the same spec in the uk from tartybikes is £1175 (approx $2300)

only thing is i will have to import a right hand front hope trial disk brake as i cant use american style brakes set up.

Yeah, I ride my levers the same as you (rear on the left). They are both upside down.

Heard some bad reports about the freehubs, but a mate has had one for coming on 2 years without service and no problems...

Similarly the same external bb has been circulating through abingdon for about 3 years and is currently 3rd hand and hasn't been touched.

But fair enough if people have had other/bad experences. Argument over (please)
