cup of boiling water, dip it in for about 20 seconds or so, push like f**k until it goes on. Keep dipping it in if it doesnt go all the way on 1st time, just make sure you dont take the barb off for that.

Dont scald yourself either.

Ideally you need the 2 hard plastic hose clamp thingys to hold the hose while you hammer the barb in.

oh ok , no other way of getting it in there ? tried heating the bolt up , big no no !

where would i get them from ?

Thanks for replying by the way !

The shop would use a proper magura kit!

No other way of doing it that i know of, they usually split if you dont use them.

See the 2 white blocks, they are what you need, along with the boiling water. You also need a vice idealy so you can clamp it up. That kit is about £20 from what I remember, all you ever need really. there is a guide somewhere to bleeding if you don't know hoe to do it, just have a search in the FAQ section.

I once used a BMX stem as a make shift plastic hose clamp thingy, I just clamped the hose close to the bolts and tightened the top of the stem on to it... not the best set-up in the world but it worked. But yeah, heat the tube with boiling water and tap the barbed bolt in `straight` with a hammer. If you get the first lip of the bolt in, just heat both some more and keep going.
