MadManMike
Hello chaps and chappesses!I've been working for a while, on an album of my own material as opposed to the usual mixes. Here's two sample tracks from the album, "6ix" & "Sub Terror" in 320kbps MP3 format - full length so you can mix them too...The full album will have ten tracks and I'll be selling copies for £4.99 inc postage if anyone's interested Anyway, let me know what you think of the tracks!http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4JLGW4OJ

GaZaa
Sounds pretty cool. I like it a lot. What software you use to create the tracks? I tend to use Reason as its really easy to work with but also used Cubase for working with proper audio and its sequencers about a million times better. I'm on a Creative Music and Sound Technology course at University so its good to listen to other peoples work and take ideas from them for my own stuff. poopipe
I listened n everythin.critique from dirty old drum & bass dj commences... For my tastes the tunes are a bit empty and clinical sounding - it feels like both could do with another mix to dirty them up, fill the gaps and add a couple of those happy accidents that make things sound a bit more natural (the addition of some really f**king big drums wouldn't hurt either IMO ). I like a lot of the noises and you've got some interesting breaks in there so I'm not saying the tunes are bad - i just think they're missing that final mixdown with the funny noises and overzealous use of echo effects.get me? MadManMike
I do indeed, I'm constantly tweaking it all and adding stuff so all comments are taken on board - Dubstep is mostly plain, or at least the stuff I like is, but I do agree that there needs to be a little tweaking done Cheers for the feedback Pipey :]
poopipe
goodgood - was a bit nervous of offending you there, I'm not down with the kids anymore so I dont know about dubstep or any of this newfangled stuff you youngsters are into. I just knows about dirty great drums and scary fart noises
