Football Firms

A mate and I were on our way back from 'The Lane' the other night after the game against 'Boro and thought we'd try a different route back to Seven Sisters tube station. After turning down a small street we stumbled across the N17's / Yid Army recieving a bit of aggro from the 'Boro boys, looked quite messy so we turned and made our exit. Wont be doing that route again- well scary!

Anyone had any experience with football violence or that sort of thing?

The Naughty 40 is are Football firm. We had a game at home once. Saw all the firm walking away form the ground...Decided to follow...Followed them onto this car park...Other firm was waiting at the end...We dived in the nearest bush and watched and decided to throw rocks :D.

Love watching fighting...Was a reet' good scrap.

Danny.

The whole football firm thing is actually really interesting, surprisingly regimented and not as thuggish as it seems. My brother and I (two complete non-Football team supporters) had a really good convo with a guy from the Chelsea firm in a pub a few months ago. Bit of a livewire as you might imagine but completely sound. It was very enlightening, whilst it is crazy for dudes to fight over a sport I was still a little turned around on the subject. Apparently Football Factory's more accurate, still not really close though :P

Dirty 30 + Palace Youth (Y)

It's a cool thing to be in, i'd love to get fully envolved but y'know, people die in these tear ups, things get a bit out of hand and i really don't wanna be on the receiving end of a scaffolding pole or something, love supporting palace at the games though, good fun taking the piss out of the away fans etc, there's always a lairy 13 year old chavvy fanny of some sort at the front (no matter who we're playing) and he/ the group always get the piss taken out of them.

Watch "the real football factories" with danny dyer, He goes to places like russia to see how there firms all work other there, there are a lot less preventative measures so they have the ability to turn very ugly..

I love how they do it though, they agree numbers, 30 v 30 for example, once someones down and been kicked once or twice they move onto someone else (so as not to brain damage the person etc) also no weapons involved then they all shake hands at the end!!!!

Its still a strange thing to get your head around but at least you dont get some 5ft pikey fanny trying to proove himself by stabbing someone whos not even interested in football violance but has wondered into the wrong place at the wrong time.

went to college in wrexham with a fair few of the frontline casual's(kind of a spin off of the main wrexham frontline crew), including a couple of lads who went to prison for the attack on the chester pub. most of them were sound, got a hell of a lot of respect for the more old skool footie hooligans, go for a fight with people that want to have a fight, on an industrial estate, away from kids/mothers etc. that doesnt hurt anyone who isnt a willing participent, dont see it doing much harm, its more the whole "blud, u is not an arsenal fan, i knife you" culture of the 15 year olds etc, which i find pretty bad.

also the gym i trained at till 2 weeks ago, had a fair few EBF, and ex EBF(including one of there top men from the late 80s-mid 90s ) who trained there.

Watfords a fairly friendly club so don't get alot of it round here. Just fights and stuff for other reasons really.

I remember reading a few of the big time footie hooligans saying how Watford was always theire 'Day off' where they could just take the fam to a game and have a quite one.

Is pretty funny when we play Luton though.
