Not owned a pair of those ones, but have tried them on. They're very comfy, and i imagine would be more than suitable. Just make sure you get the right size, or they sit so uncomfortably.

Personally, I can't stand having shin pads on. They just make my legs so hot and sweaty.

But I have used those shin pads, they are pretty comfy and are very good for protecting your shins.

You can get the equivalent of those for about 10 quid cheaper, and they would be pretty much the same.

But I wouldn't be able to help you on where to get them from..

Just use footie shin pads.....

cw00 - I've seen the lizard skin one's but i was wondering if there just a cover, not a guard.

^ the Lizard skins chain stay protector is just meant to be used to prevent chainslap damaging the stays of the bike....and wont really hold up against being bashed into ledges etc.....a bit of old tyre zip-tied to the stay, however , would be perfect and stop everything but the biggest dents...
