They're very comfy, and i imagine would be more than suitable. Just make sure you get the right size, or they sit so uncomfortably.
loser
Personally, I can't stand having shin pads on. They just make my legs so hot and sweaty. But I have used those shin pads, they are pretty comfy and are very good for protecting your shins. You can get the equivalent of those for about 10 quid cheaper, and they would be pretty much the same. But I wouldn't be able to help you on where to get them from.. mountian goat
Tempted by these 661 MXE shin/knee pads. What you guys think. Also i started getting a few dents on my chainstay, any methods or recommended chainstay protection.I've seen the lizard skin one's but i was wondering if there just a cover, not a guard. Thanks
Callum-Luvs-Trials
I use just normal football shin pads and there working great for me,even when your pedal hits your shin you cant even feel it.
mr_malcolm
im a second vote for getting your self a pair of 661 veggie shin pads you forget your wearing them after about 10 minutes and have saved my shins many a time
Alex Dark
Just use footie shin pads.....cw00 - I've seen the lizard skin one's but i was wondering if there just a cover, not a guard.^ the Lizard skins chain stay protector is just meant to be used to prevent chainslap damaging the stays of the bike....and wont really hold up against being bashed into ledges etc.....a bit of old tyre zip-tied to the stay, however , would be perfect and stop everything but the biggest dents... Ravemonkey
use old football shin pads i doyou don't really need to go spending money on specialist equipmentwhen you can just dig your old pads out the garagei personally would want to spend the money on something else
