Auf weidersehn,

I'm running into abit of trouble with my new(er) graphics card, I've only just moved from a crummy fx5900xt to a vanilla 6800 which when standard is:

core: 325mhz

mem: 800mhz

pix/pipeline: 12

vertex pipes: 6

But I've overclocked it to:

core oc: 370

mem oc: 877.5

pixel oc: 16

vertex oc: standard

. In both Counterstrike Source and Half Life 2 I get really jumpy frames when I look at stuff closely, looking at areally high definition landscape is smooth and crisp.

Two problems I think it might be but need abit of help is when I go to run either of the games, Steam gives a warning that my graphics drivers are out of date, after installing the latest drivers I'm confident they aren't out of date unless Steam is having trouble with the latest Nvidia drivers.

The 2nd problem is I've noticed that after I exit out of the game I can see where the game has been jumping by looking at RivaTuner

As you can see the core clock drops to 324mhz at certain points in game where it should be 370mhz during high performance 3D.

Any help would be appreciated. Maybe Mr.Boats has some experience with this?
