Joel
Well basically my right ear keeps blocking up and unclogging constantly, whenever I swallow it keeps popping. My left ear is also a little clogged up. Some of the time when I swallow all my earing is perfectly clear but then it clogs up again after 10 seconds. I have a minor chest infection atm which apparently to the doctors is blocking up some of my senses but my ears are f**king annoying me now!Have any of you had this? How can I cure it!? JD™
unfortunately this is one of the common side effects of infections in general, its just another of the symptoms of congestion. what works for me? try not to concentrate on it. you'd be surprised just how much you make it stick around just by thinking about it too much.get out on your bike, that always seems to help clear my congestion for a bit, albeit your balance is a little worse!J
MadManMike
Could be related or unrelated, I suffer the same sometimes. It could be a wax buildup - for this put olive oil in your ears for a week then book a syringing with your GP - this does not hurt and actually feels nice and is a quick procedure.Alternatively, it could be pus from the infection, in which case anti-biotics can be prescribed that will get rid of this.Either way, get it checked out. Simple solutions and painless too
Tomm
If you've got a generally sore throat then it sounds like it might be a blockage of the tube that goes from your mouth your ears. Contrary to popular belief, it's not a build-up of pus that blocks the tube, it's the general inflammation around the area. There's no quick fix, and it will improve when you generally get better. The only thing you can really try is taking anti-inflammatories and gargling paracetamol.
