duggyd
Hi, i have a Pro2 hub (thanks TheChai!) and was wondering which cassette i could put on it? I have read somewhere that it's only 6 speed, but can't seem to find one that's not a road set? Wouls that work?Would this fit? Echo 7 SpeedIf not, what would?! Thanks.Oh, and i don't want to run single speed yet, as this will be my only bike until i get a new F&F to make a proper trials specific bike. Cheers guys. sexymike
you need to get your self a 9speed road mech (or mtb to be honest but wouldnt bother) then simply not use 3 of them. its easiest to not put on the 3 individual rings you get and stick with the body of the cassette which includes 6 cogs.its 6 gears in 9spd spacing. JonMack
Get a road cassette or a normal cassette and build something like 20 19 18 16 15
Jamie_Neal
If that cassette is 7spd then even if you took one off it wouldn't fit as you need 6 9spd spaced cogs not 6 7/8spd spaced cogs.(7/8spd chanins are wider than 9spd chains hence the different spacing)
duggyd
Thanks for the replies peeps. I thought you could buy a 6 speed cassette, but I guess that would be too wide then.I have an old XT mech from a few years back, I'm sure that would do the job, then just get a 9 speed cassette and use whichever suits my chainring.Ok, think i got it! Thanks guys!
