Posted September 23, 2007 Report Share Posted September 23, 2007 I have a widescreen, HD PAL camcorder!When i upload it onto adobe, it is in widescreen and ok!But after is been through adobe and exported, it is all squashed and my wheels dont look round!I have tried changin the settings at the begginin of adobe, but neither of hem make a difference!Does anyone have any ideas as to what I could do?Thanks, danny Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Greetings Posted September 23, 2007 Report Share Posted September 23, 2007 HDV uses anamorphic pixels.Either change the pixels to 1.0 and export in a 16:9 standard (best 1280x720 due to most HDV cameras not exceeding 700 lines anyway), or export in 4:3 with 1.333 pixels (then you have to manually change the aspect ratio in the program you're playing the video). Nick Garland Posted September 23, 2007 Report Share Posted September 23, 2007 Premiere supports those on imports, cant remember how to get the settings properly but there should be HD profiles set up, and special ones for Panasonic cams on the new CS3.
