thewoomaster
Was thinking about getting a new back hub & have seen the Chris king single speed hub. Is this any good, does it pick up as well as normal 72 click chris king hub? ta

Boswell
I would'nt get one as one of the tools you need to maintain it is around £70.
Greetings
I would'nt get one as one of the tools you need to maintain it is around £70.Nope, you need a 3/32" allen key to maintain that and any other Chris King hub.The hub itelf is great, the distance between the flange and frame is the same on both sides meaning the wheel is stiffer. It uses an HD axle but the drive shell is made of aluminum.

strat-trials
I've got one and its fine.Haven't run gears on a trials bike for ages and figured i'd go for the singlespeed. Bought mine in america and had too good a deal to miss out on. Otherwise get a pro 2.Little bit heavier but kings prob aren't worth the extra you'd pay over here. And obviously get the right mount of holes for the rim you'll be running on it.The ONLY makes of hub to run on a trials bike King,Hope or Profile
