Endohopper
... some longer brake levers...Longer ? What brake system are you running currently ? If it's V's and you think longer levers will help , look into better cable and pads first .

Si-man
You want to be using one finger if you can, makes all the difference.AS for longer levers, i think avid use long blades (unless your a hydraulic boy) Edited September 21, 2007 by Si-man
Endohopper
...my levers are just a bit too short to get a good grip with at least two fingers...Most brake levers have reach adjustment screws that allow the lever to sit further inward toward the bar when resting . Specifically , which lever are you running ?
Trialsnewb4life
theya re just short arm shimano ones. They sit a bit far away from the bar. Ive set the adjustments to get them as close to the bar when sitting neutral, but they just dont suit me. Wanna find long arm levers that sit about an inch to an inch and a half away from the bar. Endohopper
Hmmm , tricky as most V levers are pretty much identical in length , although Shimano's Deores appear to be fairly long . Also Avid's levers have a flattened end which you may find comfortable . Perhaps something among these levers takes your fancy ? Failing that , perhaps running 'em at a different angle , for example steeply downwards may be feel more natural .
